when u face the valve and move it to right -- thats how you close it -- may persons have broken valves trying to open or close it because they don't know in which direction to move.. so when u face it move to right to shut while if its parallel then its open

goo gone makes a caulk remover spray, spray it on, wait 2 hours and use a metal putty knife and wedge it in behind the caulk and wiggle it and the caulk slides out.

Just the video I was looking for. I like the Air Stone product and I agree on the use of Loctite Premium adhesive ( Premium Fast Grab actual) to adhere it to my outdoor fire place. I did some experimenting with it a piece of stone glued to a cinder block. After only 2 hours, I could not remove it with a chisel and hammer! That stuff it strong!!

Well that's 5 minutes 50 seconds of my life I won't get back!
